Hi James, I don't have an opinion. I do have some experience. I am requested by spiritual groups from time to time to speak on hypnosis and to do past life regression group sesions. I have done so. All participants had experiences, some vague and some enlightened in this life as a result. Once a participant was convinced that her life in the now was being tormented by a past life. somehow during the workshop she had an epiphany. She burst into tears after calmely returning to her full awareness and declared that all her life she'd been running away from herself. She hugged me and said a joyful, tearful thanks. I don't claim any credit for that. I was merely a conduit for energy or enlightenment.
I only use pastlife regression in the clinic if requested and that's rare enough. Whatever works works!.

Hi I hope you found the info I sent you on Ego State training helpful. I just figured that as you had Mr Emerson on your doorstep you should unitise that. I intend to come to Oz late 2010 to take his Diploma course myself. I have read his book, which is on the link I sent you and also the books by Helen and John Watkins, it is all fascinating stuff. You asked about the mighty Master Gil Boyne and his use of Parts Therapy? I have had the great honour and privilege of training with Mr Boyne and he is every bit as immense as his reputation suggests, he is also a genuine and lovely man. I would whole heartedly encourage you to take his on line course and to enrol on any master classes he has scheduled for 2010. Dr John Butler teaches Gils “Transforming therapy” in London and I am also honoured to have trained with John an equally lovely man and an accomplished Hypnotist, Therapist and Academic... John’s website has a full film of surgery undertaken using Hypnosis as anaesthetic and is well worth logging on just for that... John can also answer any of your questions. Only last night I watched a video of Gil giving a workshop at Charles Tebbetts
School. (Mr Tebbetts studied under Gil and paid Gil great accolade in the introduction to his book “Self Hypnosis And Other Mind Expanding Techniques”), it was filmed many years ago but it has stood the test of time; you can view this on line at the link below. John would be the person to tell you if any master classes are scheduled as he assists Mr Boyne on the courses. I have added some links for you... My beliefs might be slightly different but i NEVER tell someone what is right or wrong when it comes to their beliefs... and that leads me to my answer... I will flow with my client and what is comfortable for them - at this point in time PLR is something that doesn't really gel with me but i do use Timeline Therapy but would always explain the "metaphor" of past life to my clients because i'm not even sure if there is such a thing myself! hahahahaaa If i ever had someone that completely believed in it and wanted it, i would have to pass them on at present, but maybe one day.....
