Many of the debates on Hypnothoughts begin as professional ones, discussing differing view points, differences in techniques etc..that said, often they seem to de evolve into personal debates, defensive back and forth and, what could be perceived as personal attacks.

What does it mean to you to be a professional hypnotist or hypnotherapist in terms of other professionals?

John,

In what must surely be a remarkable case of sublime Karmic coincidence, I dined today at a local Chinese buffet, and lo and behold, MY fortune cookie read:   "There is visibility for those who choose to see with open eyes. Awareness leads to self recovery."

LOL

By the way, perhaps it's not particularly "enlightened" of me to admit this-    but I actually prefer to retain my (fallible and sometimes even conflict-seeking) individuality rather than become part of a tediously homogeneous "critical mass".

I'm just sayin'......

One of my few short suits is that I don’t read “fortune cookie” very well.

I expressed my views and I regret that you cannot accept that with non-judgmental regard.

But thank you for illustrating my point.

Yours in Health,

There is visibility for those who choose to see with open eyes. Awareness leads to self recovery. Honest feedback is a significant factor. As the critical mass wakes up and learns how to avoid evoking personal attacks, all will surely be better. Yet, as long as individuals seek conflict it will remain in full effect. I suggest that you let it go, John.
