the Free Hypnosis Social Network
I use a Mac and access Hypnothoughts via Firefox most often.
Sometimes when I go to a discussion I see the comments posted after the topic in chronological order.
The first comment is immediately below the topic, the one that was POSTED AFTERWARDS appears below, and so on. To get to the next page, and later comments, I press Next.
More often, the most recent comment appears below the topic. The comment below is the PREVIOUS comment and so on. To see earlier messages, I press Next.
Is there a way to make this consistent, or to choose? If I come late to the party, I have to page back to the beginning and then read upwards to follow the debate in a linear fashion. Because we read down, this feels quite unnatural to me.
Now I'm curious not only to solve this for myself, but wondering if it bothers anyone else. Does it? I think I'm more alphabetically oriented than most people... (When we divide into Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic I sometimes wonder what we call people who see the word spelled out at the same time, or even before, the image?)
Thanks!

I'm not sure I am following what you are describing. I use a PC and firefox. Below the topic is the first post then the following ones in order. At the bottom of the page I can click on the next page and the same order continues until I get to the last post, (most recent post). Or from the discussion page I can click on the last poster and it will take me to the last, or most recent post.
I have noticed that in the groups and or blogs I don't go there very often, it is the other way, the most recent post is always right under the topic and the older ones or the first one is at the end.
Are we describing the same thing?
Steve

it sounds like you are describing the difference between the discussion forum and the blog. The discussions are posted in chronological order, while the blog comments are posted "most recent on top."
Is this what you are talking about?
Permalink Reply by docregal.com on October 27, 2011 at 3:36pm Stephanie, perhaps you are asking: "Can you please make all content of the blog responses chronological just like the discussion group? It is challenging to read blog replies in reversed order." If this is your inquiry, I agree and think this is a fine request. If not, please reword your question.
