I'm curious - I came across this label in another discussion for allergy relief and after reading the description on their website: http://www.psych-k.com/pages/what-is-psych-k.php I'm wondering whether it is something new just a similar technique to NLP or Time Line.
If anyone has experiences with it, or can give me a comparison, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Wendy,

Consider the possibility that ALL of the techniques that we use are secondary to the excited beliefs and expectations that our clients invest into going through the processes that we guide them through.

In that sense/context PSYCH-K, NLP, cognitive therapy, guided imagery, guided meditation, QUANTUM FOCUSING and hypnosis are persuasive maps for helping people get from where to are to where they want to be.

PSYCH-K, NLP, cognitive therapy, guided imagery, guided meditation, QUANTUM FOCUSING and hypnosis are empowered by the practitioner's skill in communicating and making it reasonable to believe the unspoken suggestion that - "If you do this -- Change will happen!" and the client's innate resources and ability to respond to the experience,

The magic is in a hypnotist's/NLP-er's ability to excite their clients imaginations and fire up their expectations in ways that promote taking action and making changes...The technique is the ritual that seals the deal....

As you digest this information you will discover that you are able to invent techniques that are a perfect fit for the client you are working with -- without thinking about it --

I have also heard of this, I had a client that is a Psych major and she brought this to my attention. So Michael you have used this method or you know about it just curious.

Pattie
Hi Pattie,

Here's the deal- in my opinion:

If you really like the rap used to advertise -PSYCH-K -- It could be a solid tool for you or not.
On the plus side: Dr Bruce Lipton is a big supporter of PSYCH-K and on the minus side: ideomotor/kinesiological techniques are viewed as quackery by conventional medical practice--

Newbies,

The different techniques you are learning are empowered by the practitioners using them -- When highly skilled hypno uses PSYCH K, NLP or what ever they choose to use -They can make it seem like the technique is producing dramatic results and when a mediocre hypno uses the very same techniques the techniques appear to be lacking....

Essentially our techniques help because our client believe that our techniques will work in highly charged states...

Just my opinion
Thanks for your imput on this topic....
