Few people in the field of hypnosis are as respected as Gil Boyne.  This isn't surprising, as few people have contributed as much as he did.

The legacy of this great man speaks for itself far better than I ever could.  I also know his memory doesn't need my help in lasting the test of time.

I will say briefly, for the few of you who didn't know of him, that you were absolutely impacted by him.

Gil Boyne will forever be an icon in the history of hypnosis.  I was thrilled to meet him in person and speak at his conference.  I was humbled by his membership on this site.

Our profession has lost a giant who can only be replaced by the aggregate of his many students.  No single person will fill his shoes, though we will all stand on his shoulders.  Gil Boyne was a force of nature in our field who will always be remembered with deserved reverence.

Having been involved with hypnosis since the 1970's, Gil Boyne's teachings and development of WESTWOOD PUBLISHING were very helpful to all of us who have been students and teachers of hypnosis. LEWIS SMITH PHD PC lewissmithphdpc.com
