Hi,

This one is all over Google at the moment and I'm ashamed to say I nearly fell for it.

If you receive an email from cohadrianna@yahoo.it asking for a hypnotherapist for model Kristen Wheldon for a forthcoming visit to your locality I'd bin it. Several different therapys are being targeted and it ends up being a Western Union payment scam. You accept a cheque, make payments to a foreign company via Western Union then the cheque is retracted leaving you out of pocket.

Be warned fellow therapists.

Regards

Steve

This crops up in various forms from time to time. Another version to watch out for involves a foreign athletic team that wants a group session before a big game. Over in the music world, it's music lessons or a wedding that they prepay and then cancel . . .

Thanks for the alert, and sorry to hear you got scammed.
Thanks James.

Fortunately for me the operative word is 'almost' so I haven't lost any money or handed over any personal details. I'd just wanted to warn my fellow therapists that the scam is on the loose again.

Greetings to all,

Steve
A little while ago I exchanged an email back and forth with one of these scams before it became clear what they were up to.

They didn't get me either, but I can see how tempting it would be for people to get suckered in to.

Thanks for the heads up Steve,
Scott Sandland
