SEO help with multiple domain & wanting it to lead to one domain

Hi all,

I have a question about trying to get multiple domains to lead to one site. I want the benefit of having the domain as a keyword. For instance SeattleHypnosis.net leads to my wellness center's website hypnosis page. I know that because I don't have a real seattlehypnosis.net site of it's own that I'm not getting the SEO on the page it forwards to. So know one searching Seattle hypnosis will find me but someone searching ascension hypnosis will.

I need any suggestion or guidelines as I know Google will ding you for having multiple site with the same content.

thanks!

Thanks Nate & Doc for those ideas. It was what I was wanting to get away from as doing that much work would make me a FT web designer. I also have website OCD, nothing is ever right or good enough so multi sites would make me crazy.

Recently Google announced that they are cracking down on what they called cheap content sites. Basically companies were finding areas that had low or weak content & were making one page websites to capitalize on the ad link revenue. Since these companies were making content for contents sake reworking info from other peoples work Google cracked down on these limited content sites. Places like associatedcontent & search&go lost millions in ad revenues & now try to host their own ads. The worst part was their sites and main hosting sites were knocked down in placing a ton.

If I make a number of sites all leading to one server about the same subject I may fall into those guidelines.

I guess there is no way to to do what I originally asked for.

My New Idea

Now I'm thinking about making SeattleHypnosis.net my main domain. Call the site & the local business Changes Hypnosis, & use Morton Hypnosis as my online shingle. This way if I ever move I can sell the local brick & mortar clinic Changes, & maybe sell the seattlehypnosis domain separately. Always keeping my online name & business separate with MortonHypnosis.

If I use keywords, fresh topical content, & good seo the one brick & mortar site will be excellent in results for "seattle hypnosis" & any term using "changes & hypnosis". I will also be the only USA Morton in Hypnosis to show up on the web (currently) & with any amount of effort probably number 1. This way my name will always stand out & be easy to find! It will make me do a little more work up front but using rss, reposts, & social feeds I can make each one stand out, look original & feed back & forth. Keep one just for the business, have it link to my name site to buy mp3s & classes, & have the changes domain be a contact/map page that looks like the separate seattle site.

Please tell me what you think.
