Six Thousand Hypnotists Are Here
Another major milestone in this site's continued evolution is here. As we continue to grow and learn as a community, we keep surpassing any expectations anyone ever had for this site. To think that in less than three years we have reached 6,000 members is truly remarkable.
This site has been based on a very simple premise since day one. Our goal has been to level the playing field for people looking to learn about and teach hypnosis, to bring as many hypnosis resources directly to you as possible. I'm proud to say that we have succeeded so far at that goal, and continue to do so in new ways. Now over 2 million people visit HypnoThoughts.com every year and over 200 new people register to become a member every month.
SIX THOUSAND MEMBERS is a big number. In fact, it's bigger than some of the certifying organizations out there. While we have absolutely no aspirations of becoming a certifying body, It's fun to see our membership so quickly surpassing or approaching theirs. If you think this has gone unnoticed, you're kidding yourself.
If you think this site has grown so much because of a couple of us behind the scenes, you're being far too modest.
HypnoThoughts has become one of the most valuable hypnosis resources on the planet because of you. The membership of this site is active, curious, and experienced. The biggest names in our profession swing by here and share their thoughts. People who've yet to take an intro class visit seeking guidance. People early in their career show up with questions. And together we respond with all our viewpoints and experiences, providing answers and insights for far more people than most of you will ever know.
I see the statistics, the graphs, and the data. The moderators and I have options you don't have and see things you guys don't get access to. When this site I hoped to someday have 500 members. Today this site gets ten times that many views every day.
This site has grown in so many ways, I'd like to show you a few concrete examples of what I'm talking about. A little behind the scenes peek into the world of HypnoSummit headquarters that will show you just how much we've grown and the resources we have acquired over the last few years.

Okay, so we still aren't making enough money to buy a nice car, but we are getting there.
Anyway, I want to take this moment to thank you all and to assure you that we are just getting started. We are continuing to work hard on even bigger projects, even better resources, and to find ways to be of service to all of you.
Numerous people have said on this site and to me personally that this site is part of the evolution of hypnosis education. We have a front row seat to a massive change in the way hypnosis is taught, learned, and practiced. Let us know if there are any features you'd like to see or ideas you have. We love hearing from you and appreciate your input and feedback. We keep the lights on, but it's you guys who provide the value. Thank you all for being a part of the continued success of this wonderful and supportive community.

Your pictures are great! I think they also provide us with a nice parallel for the growth of knowledge that has been taking place within the field of hypnosis itself, thanks largely to your efforts. (And Hypnothoughts sure beats a book or a print journal for speed and ease of publication!)
