Hi everyone!

We all come here to share and learn (hopefully) but I had to share this with you - maybe some of you have something to offer too :)

I had a new client recently and just as I was counting him down (halfway) a huge Huntsman spider ran onto his hand and up and down his arm!!!  (It must have been hiding under the chair)  Now, i'm not a fan of spiders and if you Google Huntsman, you'll see why... so here i was, continuuing to keep my voice calm and slow and trying my hardest not to scream... i was waiting for him to jump or flick his arm, but no... he was so deep he didn't realise!

Well, then it disappeared - worse for me coz I couldn't see where it was then it appeared on his shoe!!!  Crikey, getting closer to me!  hahahaahaaa

Then it went again, it ran across the floor and up onto the wall and ceiling.....it slowly, over the course of the session, made it's way over to my voice and then hid under the desk in the corner in the dark - phew!!!

Of course, i didn't tell the client!  Might not have looked so professional and didn't want to freak him out! lol

Must admit, I was proud of myself that my client could have a huge spider running up and down his naked arm and hand and not realise it!!!  hahaahahahaa

Please share if you have anything - always good to have a laugh and let your hair down.

Oh my...Amber!!! You have hereby proven yourself to be a Warrior Hypnotist, able to continue on in the face of terrible-ness. I'm proud of YOU for staying calm and composed; I imagine some would be dancing upon the desktop during such an event.

While I haven't had a Huntsman spider visit during trancework, I did once intercept a smaller arachnid that was dropping on a thin tendril, straight down, headed for my client's hand. I flicked my hand out and caught the webline, deftly swinging the beast across the room.

A good hypno is ready for anything!

Amber, don't you know it is irrational for a hypno to be afraid of spiders? Nevertheless well done.

The Huntsman is not poisonous but may give you a nip. The biggest spider we have in England is I think about 5cm toe to toe.

I remember once years ago watching a Lady friend of mine running screaming through the house with her beloved cat in hot persuit, wriggly spider clamped between its lips!

Hi ya Keithanthony,

Well, i stayed in the room and kept my composure! I think it's fairly "normal" to have likes and dislikes, things we'd rather NOT be around... mine just happens to be huge Huntsmans! hahaahahahaa

Since reading this post the other day , I have seen nothing but spiders . They are certainly on the move here in Brisvagas
Well done on continuing to act calm and collected and keep the session in progress.
I once was burning a candle on my desk, and got so absorbed in watching the clients breathing slowing,
with the deepening and some papers caught alight... I calmly told the client that they would continue relaxing , safe
here with me whilst I extinguished the flames and removed the burnt bits of paper outside , as the door was near by.
I also told the client that whilst experiencint this wonderful deep relaxation that they would not experience and effects from
the small amount of smoke , and that they would continue to remain in trance , deeply relaxed and fully safe.

At the end of the session, I did talk to the client about what had happened , and she told me that she felt safe and secure and that I knew what I was doing.. we then laughed and laughed as this girl was a health professional and who has sent me clients since we worked together.

Amber, I love your spider story , and I love that you and I too can have a good laugh at our selves

best wishes
Christine
Hi Christine,

Another time that shocked me was one evening and the power went out! hahaahahahaaa - the client noticed the music stop but not the lights go out as i had them dimmed anyway, but we had to finish the session and get out of the building in the dark! hahaahahahaaa
