Thank you.

Or maybe it's from the fingers of some one who is really knows what he is typing about... FYI - I meant what I said about pretending pain away and I have helped 100s of people pretend their intense pain away -
And although, I have never experienced kidney stones or child birth, I an not a stranger to pain- I have experienced cracked ribs, broken and dislocated fingers and toes during my study of Karate and a broken wrist and ankle and compound fracture of my fib and tib when I was hit by a car...

easy to "pretend" pain away???? ....must come from the lips of someone who has never had any real pain ...kidney stones.....child birth....you don't kiss that and make it better. Sure you didn't mean to that extreme..When the hypnotist clamps the skin of your arm in an alice clamp....you don't just pretend that away!...you either got anesthesia or you don't. Great test I think....not always necessary but.....come on... :)

Never, under-estimate the power of a child's imagination or beliefs... I can remind a client of when she was a young lady pretending that she was making, serving and drinking a cup of tea with mommy or daddy and it was if she was really making, serving and drinking the tea and explain that is the quality of imagining that produces the most powerful hypnotic outcomes --

I stand corrected....but if the pretending is suggested during hypnosis...then it is much more than childlike pretending...it is then a new reality for the client. Maybe I misunderstood.
