Thanks for the reply. I have downloaded Audacity and Freecorder which will allow me to capture any audio they plays thru my speakers from any web site. I just need to learn how to mix sounds and make loops with Audacity and that should meet my needs.

David there are also several programs that will let you create free effect on the computer. Acid Sound Forge is good for the PC and Garage Band for the Mac.

Thanks for your reply. I looked at that site and give it some serious thought but I would still have to do some mixing with the sounds and some of them are really short. Also I think the cds are to pricy.

Hi Dave ok no problem lol. If you ever do a stage show in my area let me know I'll pay to see your act I'll bring my wife even though she has bee hypnotize many times when I was in training lol. First time I hypnotized her during my home work session from my class she wanted to go up into a hot air balloon funny she never told me she was afraid of heights lol. Found out during the hypnosis session lol.

She came down from the balloon ride ok then sent her to Paris for some outdoor coffee to calm her down after the balloon ride. That was about 10 years ago lol.

My wife is my worst critic and non-believer! After 2 years she is finally starting to come around. I have been steadily trying to educate her, but man is he hard headed lol. I showed her a bunch of stage show videos and then a bunch of TV interviews with hypnotist and she still commented, I don't believe that works. At least she doesn't mind me going out every week and practicing my skills. I go out one night every week and practice in the bars, which is starting to pay off as I had a bar owner call me last week and book me for a 20 minute promotional preview this Saturday night and then a one hour show with promotion in March.

Hi David if you put a search into google for sound effects you will see plenty results for both free and for purchase. Also the BBC ( for TV & Radio) website in the UK has lots of recordings of all types for sale.

That would be great. I am just starting in stage hypnosis and I have my first show in March. Tonight I am going to do a 20 minute promotional performance at a benefit show in a local bar. Anyway what I am looking for is some opening music, call for volunteers music and some skit sound effects such as playing the piano sounds, car racing sounds, animal sounds such as dog barking, horse racing sounds, and such. Just enough for me to put together a one hour show with some progressive skits from easy to more complex. Any help you could give me along these lines would be great. I feel confident in my hypnosis skills and I feel at ease in front of people, but after watching many stage hypnosis shows on the internet I realize the best ones have good sound effects and I am finding it very very time consuming to try and learn how to use mixing software to create my first cd.
