Does anyone recommend a good insurance co. for Stage Hypnosis Shows in the US for a US Performer - OTHER THAN Specialty Insurance?

If so, who and what's the contact info.

Thanks!

www.SafeOnStage.com

This is in my opinion the best stage hypnosis policy available, inlcuded liability AND equipment insurance... :)
I too am looking for Stage Hypnosis Insurance.
I have read the policy coverage available via SafeOnStage/N.A.M.E that you mention.
It covers general liability, which includes bodily injury and property damage. This would cover one if someone fell off the stage.
However, what about if someone has a car accident after the show and claims they were still hypnotized and sues?
Or if someone says that they have recurring nightmares because they were "traumatized" by being hypnotized?
Surely Malpractice Liability (Professional Liability) is required for this.
Malpractice liability is specifically excluded from the N.A.M.E. policy.
I look forward to any comments and assistance in finding adequate insurance.
Thanks!
Here's an exerpt from my book, where I list some stage insurance:

Appendix F – Insurance Sources
I‟ve included a short list of insurance companies that cover stage hypnosis. There may be others, but these are the most popular. If you‟re also doing hypnotherapy, you may need additional insurance as most of these are for entertainment performances.

Society of American Magicians
The Society of American Magicians (SAM) has an insurance policy for their members that cover a number of performance types. Fairly recently, they began covering stage hypnosis too.
They offer a $1,000,000 liability policy. Please check out their web site for more information on exactly what it covers.
Cost At Time of Printing: $239 + S.A.M membership ($65)
Address: S.A.M. Liability Insurance
Manon Rodriguez
P.O. Box 2900
Pahrump, NV 89041
Website: www.magicsam.com

National Association for Mobile Entertainers
The National Association for Mobile Entertainers (N.A.M.E.) also has coverage for hypnotists. By far, NAME‟s policy is the most comprehensive, even covering equipment like your sound system.
They offer a $1,000,000 liability policy with $2,000,000 aggregate. Again, they are the only insurance provider I know of that will also cover your equipment with a $250 deductible per occurrence.
Cost at time of printing: $350 (plus must pass free safety course)
Address: National Association of Mobile Entertainers
P.O. Box 144
Willow Grove, PA 19090
Website: www.nameentertainers.com

Specialty Insurance Agency
The Specialty Insurance Agency, besides the only one I list that DOESN‟T have an abbreviation, carries the largest policy for stage hypnotists.
Specialty offers a $3,000,000 liability policy with a $4,000,000 aggregate. Obviously, this is quite a bit more than some of the others. However, they do not cover your equipment.
Cost at time of printing: $250 (plus must pay $100 for safety course)
Address: Specialty Insurance Agency
Performers of the US & Vendors of the US
P.O. Box 24
New Richmond, WI 54017
Website: www.specialtyinsuranceagency.com

No matter which company you choose to go with, make sure you look over the policy first and pay attention to the fine print. Most of them will not over certain demonstrations of hypnosis, such as full body catalepsy, so be warned.
I am very unhappy with my dealings with Specialty and am planning to go with N.A.M.E.
