the Free Hypnosis Social Network
Hello everyone,
Im almost obsessed with the idea of cracking my neck.
It is not only a psychological thing, though at first it was.
Now, my neck is hurting sometimes, and to relieve the pain i need to crack my neck, moving the head to each side grabbing it (my head) with hand of the side where im orienting my head to. The technique is not too important, but the main issue :)
Other times, I feel as if my neck was rigid, and when i move it i feel like if there was a cable inside my neck which did not allow the movement.
In fact, i need to crack my head. Some people told me that it is really bad to do that in a constant way.
I would like to know if Hypnosis could help me in someway, and with hypnosis i mean selfhypnosis, so my neck does not hurt me anymore, and I can stop cracking it.
The main factor because I crack it is because of the pain in the neck.Sometimes it is horrible how it cracks sometimes. I even feel as if I had drunk or something and I have lost vision for some moments when I cracked it.

Please consult a doctor to make sure that there is not a problem in your neck that is causing that pain. After which, if no medical cause is found, you can use hypnosis to reduce your pain experience and to enhance your relaxation and comfort. You can also use it to remind yourself to be gentle with your neck; it has to last a long life!

Jesus, I have had neck problems on and off during my life and Kelley is right. First, see a medical doctor or chiropractor to rule out any serious underlying cause.
Most neck problems are due to tightness and imbalance in the muscles of the neck and shoulders and you will need both stretching and strengthening exercise to remedy this. Also, pay very close attention to your posture. Often the culprit is what is called the "forward head." The ears should be balanced over the shoulders and hips. Computer use and driving aggravate the tendency to just the head forward and this strains the muscles and connective tissues of the cervical spine.
Stress can aggravate neck and shoulder problems too and self-hypnosis of course can help with that. But see a medical or chiropractic specialist first. If you are almost passing out from your neck cracking, this is probably getting out of hand for you and you don't want to do any lasting damage. Good luck! Jim

And yes, James, Im everyday infront of the PC. and when i look to the mirror i see my head like more forward than my body.
Thanks again,
Jesus
