The most enjoyable hypnosis audio experience and most beneficial one you've had and why?

I always love listening to hypnosis audios and I think I enjoy Dick Sutphens the most because they seem to be the most imaginative.
As for being effective, thats a toughie but I think I'll go with Paul Mckenna for that one.

Are you talking about the auto recordings we use in session?
Most enjoyable I'm a big Mozart Fan, although Most effective for what I do is Late Instrumental 70's Rock, or 80's Metal (Van Haylen) There is a great motivation, and When they here the song again it works a lot like a trigger?
I love Dick Sutphen too. My favorite hypnosis audios to listen to more than him is Paul Scheely's audios with holosync.
I tried to find Dick Sutphens, Paul Mckenna on hypnothoughts and I don't see them anywhere.

Do they go under another name? If not ask them to join Hypnothoughts.

I googled there names and they are both hypnotist, not musicians, I was confused on the topic.
I like listening to the recordings of HypnoThoughts members. Fable is fabulous. Kelley Woods has a wonderful little sleep recording on her profile. Michael White is really inventive - my subconscious now has a room filled with pinball machines! Patricia Sorbye sent me a wonderful little session broken up into small recordings that can be mixed and matched. Robin Hart has a voice that feels like melted butter and honey. Liza Boubari has a nice relaxation session as well. Lisa from Mind Matters has a lovely 7 minutes to bliss recording that's good for a quick fix. Leslie McIntosh has a Grounding Hypnosis that's well worth the visit. I could listen to Jo Field's Total Tranquility all day. And Diane Edwards has a Hypnosis 101 recording that shows a wonderful command of English and hypnotic technique.

Outside of HT, I like Dan Jones. If I need to get away on a 20 minute vacation, he's the one I turn to.

I have yet to find any hypnosis recording that doesn't bore me to tears. I find myself thinking "just get on with it already" most of the time (and sometimes I use SoundTouch to speed them up).
By now I can make most of them work for me anyway, but I rarely bother. Most of the time I just record something for myself or simply forego any formal (self-)hypnosis session.
Hmm, one I liked more than most when listening to it briefly was Michael Norman's "Your Instant Life Revolution". Most importantly, it sounds somewhat less boring than most other recordings (but it's still way too long for my taste), and someone actually thought about how to do sound effects right, but the voice is perhaps a wee bit over the top.
The most enjoyable hypnosis audio experience I've had was the one that finished the quickest.

Never really enjoyed them and they just fee like a literal waste of time.
My first and still one of my favorites, is Dan Jones' "Deep Trance Experience," ( www.discoverdanjones.co.uk/ )
I also run a combination of different tracks every night ( all during the night sometimes) I mix Dan Jones, Stephen Brooks, Licentious Maladay's Trance Theater ( Bedtime Story being my favorite at the moment I think.. incl a home spun / mix, version of that one, trance only parts hehe) and some of Fable's stuff ("Look up Children" being my favorite). I find that all these tracks by now thoroughly familiar allow me just to drift off into Na Na Land. If I wake up, I am already in a familiar part of a track and immediately drift back deeply asleep. I have noticed that when I do not listen to anything I sleep restlessly and /or I awaken tired. My thought is that I enter REM sleep so much faster and even when my sleep is broken up in chunks ( hubby leaves at 4:30 for work) I still am able to wake refreshed because of that REM stage being achieved faster???.

But it also depends on my mood, state of mind when I want to listen. I often listen to John Cleesattel's Color induction that you can find on his videos for a quick focus and relaxation. Lately I have been listening to Chris Mulzer, in German and he is also dropping me in deep, so if you understand German, he has a lot of stuff available for your enjoyment.

I think whether a track is effective for you or not depends on the way a hypnotist's voice clicks with you. I prefer male voices, but still have found female tracks very effective. The rapport also makes a big difference. People I know and have chatted with, seem to have that instant effect on me, (expectation??) even if there is no hypnotic intend directly directed at me in voice chats and even sometimes in text chats. lol. Yeah, call me a trance junkie... but I always learn from it. :D...

@graham, I know that feeling, but I just had to find what I wanted , and I wasn't looking for therapy as such.
I LOVE Paul Scheele Audios! I found a paraliminal audio for wealth by Dr. Lloyd Glauberman which is just as good, if not better than the Paul Scheele paraliminals! I would love to share them with you!
Dick Sutphen uses so many delicious words and visuals...so easy to be captivated by!

Waste of time eh? Thats a drag....i found lots that I thought were a waste of time as well however, eventually I found a few that were an amazing experience. Once you found one you like, it becomes something to look forward to instead of some boring drivel to listen to. Graham....good luck finding an audio you love....it's worth it and not a waste of time...at least thats my experience although...i've listened to at least 50 different people so, it took me a while to find something auditorily palatable.

James...i am talking about hypnosis audios! I doubt Paul McKenna will join Hypnothoughts...he's a big time tv star hypnotist and he doesn't answer his emails :(

Wow....awesome reply! How refreshing to know that I'm not the only one who puts on a series of hypnosis audios during the night! Ever have weird dreams because of them? I recall once having dream and it was Richard Bandler talking to me...I was listening to a Bandler audio of course but the experience of that dream was like he was in my head and had me under his spell....weird and fun !!

As for listening to an audio in German....wow....I don't understand German so it would be very close to useless....I would want to hear it out of curiousity though :)

I usually listen to audios when I fall asleep and I think my favorites are anything by steve brooks or igor ledochowski. those seem to be the ones that work the best for me.
