You don't want to be messing around with vertigo, especially if it caused by Meniere's diseases as it can and does cause permanent hearing loss.
Once the cause has been diagnosed then conventional medicine works pretty well.
Hypnosis can help and replace sleeping pills often need when vertigo interferes with sleep in sever attacks and to control anxiety that often accompanies the problem.
In both case a simple hypnotic relaxation audio is only required.
I have had suffered from vertigo caused by Meniere's diseases for years on a recurring cycle.
The drug I use when I have an attack is Cinnarizine which unfortunately you can't get in the States or Canada.
I use a hypnosis relaxation audios to combat stress on a daily bases and another one for positive thinking which helps as vertigo can have a demoralising effect.
I have found the use of hypnosis a useful tool to deal with the mental stress cause by the diseases, that adds to the problem.
But I doubt it could be used solely as a treatment as vertigo is mainly a physical illness cause by disease of the inner ear. Same way hypnosis can't be used to grow your arm back if you lost it due to a accident.
Warmest Regards
Scott
