Robert Phillips said:I have been trying to use Hypnosis for pain control with little effect. I have been doing it both on my own and with the help of a professional. he told me after several sessions i was not reaching a deep state of trance. I remember all of what he was saying and was able to open and close my eyes when I wanted to or when a noise occurred. I only remember a getting a heavy feeling during a couple sessions. he said we could get there but it would take many more sessions. at 200 a pop I no longer had the money for his services and now i am back on my own. I was reading this topic on somnambulism and was wondering if it was similar to the issue i experienced when i was on fentanyl for my back. the doctor told me i was experiencing Somnolence syndrome. I could be wide awake carrying in a conversation, watching TV or working on my PC and I would just fall asleep. sometimes it was for just a few minutes sometimes it was for hours. what I was wondering is if the two are similar could a script be tailored using the memories how it felt falling into this sleep?
