Im sure this may have been discussed before but i cant find anything so ill start a discussion anyway.

I would like to know what your favourite tool in your toolbox is and why. It can be for any reason and im sure we all have one or 2 favourites although this may change from time to time.

mine are the New behaviour generator and the control room just because they are so versatile and can be adapted to almost anything. They also promote the client taking control and making the changes !!

Through this discussion we can maybe all pick up some new skills from each other too !!

My favorite tool when clients have inner conflicts is parts therapy.

Roy

I'm partial to 3/4 HP cordless drills. But that's just me.  :)

Hypnosis-wise, as a client, I like dual inductions. Being hyperanalytical, they really work well to overload my conscious mind.

As a hypnotist, so far my intuition and observation skills are my best tools.

Hi Connor,

This is an example of a dual induction. Rchard Jamison and I recorded it in 1997 without a script and in one take. FYI - I love jamming with other hypnos -- I have particpated in dozens and dozens of spontaneous dual inductions with the likes of McGill, Barsky, Cleary, Sandland, Trowbridge and Jamison. I am looking foward to jamming with Nongard, Welch and Woods in the near future...

Kathleen,

I take it that although you are the HT PR person, you know a little about hypnosis. I usually use instant inductions on analytical people, could you outline the techniques behind a dual induction?

Thanks

GREAT Michael

I love using Focussing, Parts, Timeline and Future Pacing..all have great use's in many different areas of changework!

Wow...apparently I'm the HT branding person too, if you think I'm the PR person.  ;)  Awesome.

I know a lot about hypnosis as a client, and a little about hypnosis as a hypnotist. Enough to tell you that a dual induction is a two-fer: two inductions at the same time, one in each ear.

Scott Sandland works alone as well, but somehow he has discovered a magical device that allows him to record himself speaking two different times, and yet play them back simultaneously. It seems as though Michael has discovered the same device.

If you want to do a dual induction, Connor, the first step is for you to believe it is possible for you to do one.  ;)

Just remember, Kathleen, you're not selling drills; you're selling holes!

For me .. I must admit my favorite is Anchors.  I guess because in life, we all need something "anchoring" us.

For me, parts therapy is awesome, because I never know what to expect with this one.
