One gets a Cert. for demonstrating that one has learned the material presented and can do it all when called upon. Seriously doubt if any of our domestic pets get a Cert. there. :-)

Permalink Reply by Aino / Akpolarmom on September 4, 2009 at 10:58pm Charles, I came into this sort of backwards. By my first "official class" I had already learned how to control pain and by demonstration, better than anyone else.Pain management is a tiny sliver of the total of course. All the classes and private work with tists from around the world were invaluable but it is also to have a well grounded certification. You have a great opportunity to start with an astounding school of hypnosis right in your back yard. That Is HMI. The reason is, they are more right than anyone else I have come across. I knew certain things happen certain ways but the answers from some very big names seemed off and they were. I would never say HMI is right all the time or that you should end your training there but I have no qualms about saying that is the place to start. I also feel when it comes to ethics, they have a good foundation and I know for sure there are some that don't.
Best,
Bentized
