Where to go/look

Greetings~
Please forgive me for not knowing where else to post this as am WAY new to the site.
My intrique with hypnosis is wholly surrounding the eroticism of the mind and the trust/control shared with another.
I have had amazing experiences with one individual in particular, however, my concern is wanting to be hypnotized more then a few times a year. I have had enough "crappy" experiences to know not to trust every individual that offers their particular "skill" and yet I've also learned that without the bad experiences, I'd likely not have come across a great one! :)
So~suggestions and/or recommendations of how best to proceed without wasting anybodys time? :)

Hi Yakirah,

Beyond submitting (lol) yourself to any hypnotist who claims to have "skill", why don't you learn this stuff yourself?! The most powerful experiences are devised by our own minds and there is a lot to say for taking your power back this way.

Otherwise, you are probably on the right track by joining the Erotic Hypnosis Group...

Oddly enough, it wasn't until after I had been hypnotized a few times successfully, did I realize the intimacy of it. I have considered more then a few times learning the capabilities for myself, although I simply do not know what/where I could utilize it.
I do not disreguard the power of suggestion and/or the importance of trust, and I would also never disreguard the capabilities of hypnosis in a clinical capacity having seen my father, a smoker of over 20 years, stop smoking after a single session with a hypnotist.
My curiousity is, um...of an erotic type. Simply given the lifestyle choices I have made up to this point as a submissive and I just don't know where else to ask the questions I think need to be asked. I am looking to educate myself to the best of my ability, and if that takes me in a different direction then I initially intended, then so be it! :)

Interesting comment you said, Yakirah....after you been hypnotized successfully a few times...haha

How many times did it take till you realized it was working...haha :P

Anywho...erotic hypnosis is a very interesting idea nd industry. From my own experience there are a lot of erotic hypnotist out there on the net but all the ones I found are geared to males...then again there are gender neutral track that are interesting.... ;)

Has anyone picked you up at a bar or a club or in a shopping market using hypnosis...haha its quit a trip and frankly its where I first learned hypnosis...erotic style ;)

Or more will say, watch porn videos and you will see what I mean...its strange how WORDS a lone can get a girl and a guy "hot and ready..."

Also might I add you said how "hypnosis is wholly surrounding the eroticism of the mind"...your profile picture says it all!! haha :D....nice!

Dom/sub play using Hypnosis can be a wonderful experience for a "true" submissive and an intelligent sensitive "dominant" (yes those words go together). Unfortunately in that arena Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey seem to have the largest Clown college. It's hard to tell them apart as they don't always wear the big red nose and the floppy shoes. I have no doubt that you have had some less than positive experiences. Here are some resources for you that might point you in the right direction.
1. Brian David Phillips has a DVD set out called Erotica Trance. He is on the board. You can google him. He has a pre Christmas special running now. I have recommended his DVD's to "committed Couples" and have had wonderful feedback.
2. Mark Cunningham did a presentation at the last HypnoSummit called Conditioning with Pleasure. It should be still available for viewing. If not send me a note off list and I will get you a copy from him.

Thank you for the suggestions as I will certainly look them both up!
I am MUCH more familiar with the D/s realm then the opportunities that exist with hypnosis, however, having had them work together seemed like a perfect fit~thus why I'm out to educate myself further. I appreciate ALL of the comments both positive and negative/questionable.

Wow...I've been pretty shy around here, even though I actually want to be more involved, but I've been so scared to beause I thought I'd be rejected for doing dom/sub hypnosis, I've been quite afraid. These warm replies, ahve really made me feel alot safer truly being myself on here and breaking out of my shell :).
