Everyone seems to have their list. The Usual suspects can include:

Schizophrenics
Children
Pregnant Women
Terrorists
Those with Heart Conditions
"Clinically" Depressed
Paedophile
Anyone with severe psychological disorders
Psychotics
Those under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol
Individuals suffering from dementia
Epileptics
Narcoleptics
The dead

Am I missing anyone?

I guess the ideal cover would be to get a Dr.s referral anytime we treated people who so much as sneezed. However, as a GP's note in the UK can cost anywhere from £25-£75, I'm not sure how feasible that is.

Who's on your list, if anyone? And why?

(I'm not trying to start a debate, btw. These are a genuine question.)

I wouldn't treat my Brother-in-law. Let the b^&tard suffer! LOL!
John,

If you really hate the guy, why would you pass up such a golden opportunity to mess with his head...?!
Muhahahahahahahahahaha!

Hi, lovely Steve!
I'm concerned by your definition of 'cute'... ;-P

Well I have many definitions of cute. For example, if you are not the cutest woman on this planet, that must be because you are the most beautiful one or both.

How I used it in my post was to describe a smile that was put on my face as I read your comments on fart things and your comment about it being a long time since he was a lad, I know it doesn't sound like much out of context, but it had just the right punch for me when strategically placed. And it was all positive fun.

On a more serious note, if I can be serious:

Can someone post a "call list" that we should have handy like local police number etc...and even when to call whom. What would be some of the warning signs as to when we should call a specific hot line or security, or hand the number of a specific medical agency, like if it's a full moon and client is howling and beard growing all over, it's time to call animal control and grab your bone, etc....

Enjoy,
Steve

Hi Graham,

Another question that comes up from this line of thinking and btw great post, is about dealing, or directing those who we will not treat, and our obligation if any?

Does everyone, (generalization), have the list of numbers and referrals. Do we call a cab for sending away people under the influence.

When someone is suicidal, what is protocol for exiting them which in itself can worsen the situation.

What are the procedures for refusing mental illness patients.

I can see some of the things that we can do like giving the bums rush to the penniless, holding up garlic and cross to the vampire, throwing a huge bone out the door to the werewolf say fetch and slam the door behind them, but what does everyone else do seriously for those in need of help that we don't provide.

I don't want to interrupt the back and forth comments from Henxy and Ian, that is some of the cutest back and forthness I have enjoyed on here in a long time from two of the greatest commenters on HT's.

It's ok to be ok,
Steve
