Hello to all members of this group,I am the person who started this group a long time ago.i can only appologise for my absence which was mostly due to my being locked out of hypnothoughts website untill now.Thanks to Richard Simpson for "sort of taking(a very low level of) responsibility" ,in my time away.for those who dont know me,i am based in guess where, the north east of the UK.i look forwards to hearing from members in the comming weeks.

Hello Alan and welcome to the group. In the absence of anyone else I've sort of taken (a very low level of) responsibility to see if there's any interest in injecting new life into it. I'll start a discussion to see what others would want of a group.

some years ago i attended a hypnotherapy course of over twenty people after keeping in touch after the course ended i believe only two actually practised in it and it certainly wasnt cheap.
i since then attended a couple more with similar results ,theres money in the class room but little to made on the high street.

i am in manchester area and looking for like minded folk to exchange views interests etc etc on hypnosis.
most groups on the net simply wish to flog you a course or promoe a seminar,so it would be interesting to be involved with a site simply for chiter chatter and varied view point on the subject.
i await with interest.

Yeah, Fable, you may be right about starting a new group. I was quite stunned by the membership of this one! (any members from outside the North East region of England please feel free to tells us the purpose of you being in this group). We need to think about what the aims and objectives of a regional group might be if we are to create value. For me, it was just to know who was out there, what they are doing, and to share common problems and issues. How about you?

Hi Richard,

I just joined this group, to answer your first question: "Is there anything going on with this group?"

As far as I can see the answer is a big no.

of the 15 members (if you now include me) , only 5 are actually in the north east of Uk.

other members come from united states, cambridgeshire, cairo, lancashire, Quebec, london..

Several of the listed members, have not actually logged onto hypnothoughts, in the past year or two.

you could try and make something work in this group. but it may be more practical to start a fresh group.

Is there anything going on with this group? Should we think about joining forces to promote the benefits of hypnotherapy? GPs are soon going to be responsible for large parts of the NHS budget and will be measured increasingly by outcomes rather than activity. This is a great opportunity. What are we doing about it?
