UK

In the UK? Things are different here, with the 1952 hypnotism act governing stage hypnosis and no regulation at all on therapeutic approaches maybe we can moan about our stuff and be here to help our overseas friends if they want to come here.

Hi Barry

As far as im awear if you get the people to buy tickets to attend the event then it is a private show not public and therefore the 1952 hypnosis act doesnt apply so you wont need insurance.

if you want to make it open to the public then i think you need to be a member of equity to be able to get insurance.

Im not sure if this is correct but I was told this somewhere.

the best person to ask would be Jonathan chase he knows all the technicalities for stage hypnosis as he has been teaching stage hypnosis courses for years here in the uk.

I will be coming over in April/May to work with some of the rugby clubs. I have also been asked to perform at a number of venues. Two questions, how difficult is it to perform at the working mens clubs and what is the insurance like in the UK. I have performed at Oxford and Cambridge University, as well as a number of other venues, but nobody has asked me for insurance.

Michael, I’m not sure what you’re “just asking”. I’m not up on the “leading adult theories” regarding the accuracy of memory related to negative emotional experience. It’s my understanding that when someone is experiencing “fight/flight stress”,…

Devin a few months ago I created a group called "dual inductions" as a way for people to discuss paraliminals aka dual inductions. If you search for dual inductions in the group search function you'll find it. Antonio best of luck
