HypnoThoughts.com

the Free Hypnosis Social Network

Hi Everyone,

First I want to thank everyone that gave me such a warm welcome to Hypnothoughts.  I have been vey interested in Hypnotism and have purchased some of Nongards tapes and various books.  Its funny how difficult it is to get a grasp on where to start.  I would love to learn the art of Stage Hypnotism as I feel that it would be great, and I believe I have the right personality for it.  I have as of now Hypnotized 3 people, all friends two of which took suggestions very well.  I would love to be able to learn and study stage hypnotism from a seasoned performer maybe as an intern or assistant.  Is this even possible? I  I live on the east coast in WV and cannot for the life of me find any training institues for live training.  I have learned so much from as many paper and DVD sources as I can find.  I have thought about course like Nongards Stage Hypnotism course but am unsure if that will help me bridge the gap.  Any suggestions or thoughts on the manner? Thanks!

A very good training is with Don Spencer (http://www.sleepnow.com/) in las Vegas and he is about to release a home study program. It good to train with people with similar interest, you will get DEEPER understandings in very short time. Other good material about basic principles of hypnosis is "the power of conversational hypnosis" from Igor Ledochowski (http://www.conversational-hypnosis.com/). A thing that you can do is organise a practice group and find people that want to join so you can exchange knowledge and practice routines. Good luck...
Thanks Mitchel. I have the Ledochowski series you mentioned and it is really good. I will look into the Don Spencer trainings. I would love to get with a group that has similar interests. Maybe a post on Craigs List? lol. Thanks for your help!
