the brain waves and seeing ufo's

Heres a thought: Bud Hopkins did a great deal of research in the area of using Hypnosis and uncovering some unique information, which is seen a valid among some circles, the thought that because UFOs are a dimensional crafts, and it has been found that the four levels of the brain are reflective of dimensional thinking, then to see them the brain must be in the awaken state and at the same time be deep within the lower waves, such as theta and delta. Kind of a unique sense of balance between Beta and theta/delta with the Alpha level in a regressed state due to the ability to discern between the lower and higher waves has to be in a non-recognized pattern and that is the main purpose of the Alpha level.
Could this not indeed to many that believe in the Guides or Voices? or in receiveing information in these situations?
