I was thinking about how loss can be present at so many different levels and how we each react to it. For example, for some, the loss of a pet for one person can be tantamount to the loss of a human to another. What we might assume to be smaller losses, such as a job, hair or teeth (youth), can actually be huge for a client. This has made me be aware of how these can radiate in a client and how I might help them deal with loss.
A different discussion on HypnoThoughts contained this link, which is a marvelous free book about loss:

What experience do you have with the variety of loss presented?
