Amen to that Michelle....
Taking the BHR classes I have grown tremendously in knowledge,and this is in great part due to the fact that we are required to interact with the other students. Without it I would not have found a whole new slew of hypnofriendly folks, who teach me all kinds of things, in addition to the (so far 42+) great lessons.
I think my favorite technique is the dissociation, it just seems so valuable and applicable in so many situations. The real convincer for me was doing trance work on Skype and realizing it actually works on me! I have since used it to observe myself a couple times, while doing trance work, gave me a great insight into what we / I could learn from our practice....
But I also agree with Paul, that they are all new tools, and as a collector of tools, i am sure I will eventually get to appreciate each one in some way.

I am wondering what Stephens favorite is??? I think we should ask him on BHR...LOL

I gained so much from watching the videos of Stpehen and Ernest Rossi working with Terry, the lovely man with AIDS. He increased T-Cell count and went on to work with many other people with HIV/AIDS, teaching them self-hypnosis. Inspiring stuff and wonderful learning of Rossi techniques for me.

Hi all
When I began as a student on this course, I knew a little about Hypnosis and nothing about Psycology and all the different treatments.
Now, a year later, I know a little more about Hypnosis and a little about Psycology and the different treatments.
Only a little! But it has been a great year, because I have come to know a lot of fine and knowing people, being ready to share their knowlwdge with me.
I know a little more now, but I know a lot about where to find more knowledge, and this site and the BHR graduate Forum will be to an unmeasurable help to me.
Thank you to all, and thank you for having started this Forum.

For me, my favourite moment would be watching my first ever Stephen Brooks video.

I can still remember laughing as I watched it, delighted by his natural genius.

Sophie I also saw the sam Stephen Brooks video at my training 6 years ago,it was magical and has stayed with me.

I agree with Graham Old, and can add that watching all of the videos of Stephen in action were very educational.
