Hi All
Looking forward to learning some stuff here, learning more on the physical brain will add to more understanding of the "software" or thoughts and imagination, which may help with my hypnotherapy and the possibility of working with people who have had a stroke, ideally the possibility of re routing neuron pathways and connecting motor neurons,

Pete

Hey, folks!

As former neuroscientist-turned-psychologst with a background in hypnotherapy, I am going to love getting into this!

Most of my neuroscience research has been around psychopharmacology and neurotransmission, though I am keenly interested in the use of hypnosis to expand the capabilities of the brain. Hoping to get a lot of great ideas here!

I highly recommend folks reading "Brain Rules" by Dr. John Medina. It is a wonderful and entertaining (rare for a neuro-scientist) look at some of the rules our brains function under. He also includes some very funny little videos to get the point across. I loved it.

Great subject. Just getting to the level of understanding the power of thought, the human race is going to begin evolving more rapidly than ever before.
