the Free Hypnosis Social Network
Hi everyone:
I am looking at graduate programs in counseling that include hypnosis/body-mind/somatic therapy and wondering if others have any advice or experiences to help me.
I have had my hypnotherapy practice for 3+ years and would like a more structured opportunity to study, research, contribute writing about the field, and expand therapeutic practices with supervision. I am a great hypnotherapist and want to always include that work in any counseling practice I eventually have, but also want to get licensed and add to the literature.
Can anyone share experiences they have had or would recommend. I am open to both Masters or PhD/PsyD possibilities. I would appreciate learning about programs, schools, leadership in the field? I live in the northeast and am looking at low-residency programs or perhaps something I might move for for a few years.
Thanks for any ideas friends,
Samuel Lurie, MEd, CHT
