I say that whether it does or does not exist is of little matter to me as I experience more enjoyment int giving my attention to those things and ideas which i consider to give me an experience of joy.

I tend to agree with Antoine but these accounts disturb me as well. I think that it is not as widespread or influential as the CT's (conspiracy theorists) would have us believe, but I'm certain that there is truth also that bears our attention.

I have been hearing more and more from everywhere (including the White House) that cyber terrorism is more dangerous than anything that could be done with bombs, or even bio-terrorism.

The fact is that those who have and control money have more power than we like to realize (I'm talkin' real MONEY). That they could form powerful alliances has already happened. Look at the big corporations. And the last law that the Supreme Court approved of: that of corporations being treated legally as "people" or "entities" with voting power.

I can't quite swallow alien or prebiblical shapeshifters but I feel that there is much to be learned out there.

After a long time, of beating myself over the head with thinking and worrying about how certain groups try to subdue us, for power and money, I finally got it;
Either these groups are omnipotent, and control everything, and want to stay hidden, in which case all information would be banned and deleted before anyone finding out, OR they want to be exposed, and the information given to us, is a way of inviting people to "join the cause".
But The exact opposite could also be true:
This group is far less powerful than is said, and the information that is "out there", is used to mislead people into thinking that the conspirators are everywhere.

In both cases I conclude, that if there is a conspiracy, that it is far less influential as "they" want us to believe, because if they still need to mislead us, then they are afraid of what we would do, when it would be out in the open.

Ian Jay makes a good point with the youtube video about the movie Nowhere Man. CIA mind control, is very well possible. It's nothing new and they have tried to keep it as secret as possible, but the intelligence communities in many countries have used mind control to get agents and operatives to perform missions. TruTV did an episode about this on the show Cosiracy Theories. Similar techniques have also been used by cults, especially the most notoriuos of cults; MLM's and Network marketing companies. What these groups do to people is worse than what the CIA or any intelligence organization in the world does to people. At least what the intelligebce communities do is deemed as part of national security. What MLM's and Network marketers do to people is uncivilized and ilegal, but they manage to get away with it. They not only control people's minds, they enslave them to fulfill their greedy desires. They are proof that you don't need a gun to rob people, just the ability to get people to buy your products and make them believe that they can get rich selling those products and recruit other people to do the same. Matter of fact, I think that the CIA can take some lessons from them, the MLM's seem to do a better jon at controlling people's minds.

BUDDHA:
Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true. [paraphrased]

Some people say "There is no such thing as a conspiracy". Others say: "Everything is a conspiracy"
What do you say?
