Consumers: interests seem to lie in obtaining, in this case, a service or product to assist in making some sort of change in their lives.

Yes, that is my main objective here on this group to make permanent improvements/changes in and to myself as the subject through self-hypnosis and then maybe to others also but I want to learn as much as possible first before I start to attempt to make those changes to myself. I am seriously contemplating doing this as a profession and I am very interested in the subject as a whole topic. I have already spent a ton of money on material and I don't have anything that I can 'ground' or start from as to the subject of hypnosis. The subject has to be in a format starting form 1,2,3,... and so on so that I may learn it totally from the beginning to the 'end' and a basic examples of how its done to learn, if there is a book and then I can go around different techniques/methods and learn more thoroughly. Is there a 'book' that is available and in print that I could purchase that has all of this in print now and for a novice as myself? I am very interested in traditional hypnosis, covert and rapid trance induction and the wording to patters and how to form or write them. Any suggestions?

You might add stage show audience/participants, with entertainment being the focus.
