Hi Matthew,
Thank's for your positive feedback!
Also, your tips on the various techniques I can use to improve the recording quality are really useful. I'm using the Zoom Q3 recorder with a built-in mic. I'll position it as you've advised (with better proximity, away from flat surfaces). I'm glad that you mentioned the "in the room" sound of my recording, because I would like the experience of my recordings to be more "in the head."
Thank's for taking the time to give me such helpful advice!
Robert
Hi Robert,
Thanks for your relaxation file. Not too sure if I should comment here or in an independent thread. That aside...
I found the content quite enjoyable and liked the presuppositions. I may have enjoyed it even more without intending to provide feedback.
If you would like some technical comments, here are a few: You can clip off the clicks at the very beginning and end using a simple editing program. Also, not too sure what mic you were using, but you could get better resonance in your voice using the "proximity effect" by having the mic closer to your lips, but be sure to keep it a little off-axis to avoid unwanted breath noises. There were also some surface reflections that caused an echo or reverb-type effect that can be reduced by bringing the mic closer and keeping it further from flat surfaces. Bringing the mic closer will give your recording a more intimate feeling. Otherwise, your recording does sound more "in the room," which may be what you were intending.
Thanks again for sharing. I found your recording quite enjoyable.
Best,
Matt
Here's my first effort at creating a relaxation audio, with a place for the listener to add their own intentions or goal for the session. Any feedback on aspects you like as well as for ideas improvement will be appreciated!

Hi Antonio,
Thank you for the recommendation.
Somewhere on this site I have read awhile back about a website that does what I am looking for but I am unable to find it. The website would let you upload the MP3s to their website for free like the www.archive.org but it would allow you to sell them from their website and would change a small percentage.
Hello,
Could anyone recommend a website that will host my MP3s?
I am looking for a website that will only charge me when they are downloaded and that does not charge for keeping the MP3s on their site.
Example: One MP3 sales for $9.00
I would be charges $1.00 from the website and it would transfer $8.00 to my paypal banking account.
Thank You,
Sidney
