What better way to improve skills than having a fun with a hypnotic game!  I was actually working when I thought of the concept for this game.  Basically we will start a group trance call this coming Tuesday (June 22, at around 12pm -10 gmt (Hawaii Timezone).  The topic for this particular game will be using Hypnotic Language Patterns to induce a trance in your 'opponents'.  The last person to have their eyes open is the winner!

Rules:
  1. To keep people on their toes and prevent them from only using patterns they are used to, everyone is required to use random patterns from http://www.disguisethelimit.org/language-patterns/
  2. You can 'conspire' with other people in the group trance call to target one particular person, but remember - those people that conspire with you, may actually be conspiring to target you as well ;)
  3. No one is to use any kind of post-hypnotics/triggers that have already been set (deep sleep, sleep now, etc..etc..) as this is not fair and will not promote everyone learning these patterns even more.
  4. The winner will get to choose the style of the game for the following week (whilst still keeping the game revolving around Hypnotic Language Patterns).  Maybe we can all think of ideas on additional 'outcomes' as a topic - 'learning the patterns unconsciously', etc.
  5. Everyone will have a particular spot in the call.  In other words, we will all have set spots.  No jumping ahead of anyone else.
  6. Since we don't have multi-cam support on Skype yet, everyone needs to be honest as to if their eyes are open or not.  Remember once they are closed, you have 'lost' in a sense...but not really, as you'll be in a nice comfortable trance, listening to wonderful language patterns that may give you additional ideas on how to use them.  If a person is lying about their eyes being closed, it takes out all of the fun of the game!  And no I'm not going to tinychat to "monitor" if people are being fair.  Either a person is in the game to learn and have fun, or they are in it to 'prove themselves'.
  7. You must use the language patterns that have been given to you on that link.  No cheating and using patterns that you "want to use" or are familiar with.
  8. If its your turn to talk you must participate.  The only way you will not have to participate is if your eyes are closed.
  9. One last thing, I realize that some people may not want to be 'tranced/hypnotized', which I respect.  If this is the case, you can still participate to improve your use with language patterns, you just can't 'win the game', as you will more than likely be resisting big time to being hypnotized.  But who knows, you may end up tranced ;)
If you have any additional ideas for rules or ideas on how to modify some of the above let me know.

NOTE: The group trance call will most likely start anywhere from 12pm to 1pm -10 gmt (Hawaii Timezone) on Tuesday.  Please make sure to convert your time to find out when 12pm -10 gmt will be for you.  http://www.timezoneconverter.com/

Also if you would like to be invited into the skypenosis group chatroom on skype please send me a message (emergeunited is my skype name).

We just had a practice round between 5 people. It was a little rough in the beginning, but the results were great! If it had gone on for like 2 more minutes my eyes would have probably been closed :D If you wanna partake in this, make sure you join us. Don't expect to leave without going into a trance!
Yeah, no problem. It was quite fun, even though I was the first to "drop" :D

Today's session was fun. Very educational, and a good chance to get to know some of the other hypnotists in the group. Thanks for organizing this, Antonio!

Best,

Felix
