A few times me and another member have tried to use Skype to do a dual induction, but for some reason the software doesn't allow the voices to become separated to either one channel.  I'm curious if anyone can think of a way to "side step" this, or if its even possible with a plugin for skype.

Using the "MP3 Skype Recorder" I have found that the signal is split on incoming and out going sound. That means that if record a induction I would get myself on one channel and my other trancer on the other, as well as the sounds from the subjects. But as being on the receiving end it would not be in stereo.
Too bad, but at least we could create a impromptu session on an mp3.....
Yeah, the only problem with that is that it can't be done live :(

I'm pretty sure Skype doesn't allow you to do that, nor does any other voice chat program I know of. Sorry for the bad news. :)
But even if the idea is to create a dual induction in "real life" on skype, e.i. the feeling that two people are talking to one client at the same time... it will still work in the fact that it is two different voices. One does not have to use the stereo effect for it to be effective. Just the fact that suddenly a different voice breaks in is enough to create the effect.
Now, if you desire to end up with a product as a recording, where the subject heard both hypnotists and later wants to revisit, the two hypnotists simply just record their own voice, and only their voice, and then merge them assigning each to the R or L channel. One could then even perfect this with some of the effects on audacity. etc. The voices would then be spaced just right as it would be easy to 'mark' the beginning point on both recordings and then just match them up. Lots of possibilities. Let's not hang our abilities on the limitations of Skype or distance between us.

the call can be recorded using audacity and then have the two tracks overlap each other.

If anyone wants to try this with me, my SKYPE is devin.scannura

Aino has great ideas for skype....awesome.

I want to play!
We *could* go that route, but I'd rather see the programmers over at Skype improve Skype by leaps and bounds. A ton of people have asked for "virtual conferencing" where each caller could be placed spatially in the channels. Why is skype not jumping on this, considering they want people to start paying for multi video conferencing, and considering how a TON of folks are already paying for the skype in and skype out functions.
