Earlier after a little swim at the beach I was thinking that a dual induction recording to help people contact "parts" of their mind and to possibly find out what the positive intention/purpose of these parts is.  Can anyone think of any ideas for this (possible stories, suggestions, etc)?.

could you clarify what "parts" you are referring to here?
Do you mean conscious and subconscious, or right-brain/ left-brain, etc?
Hypothalamus, Pineal gland .....
by parts I mean parts as in "parts work".

Try to explain it, as though I was a 12yr old child, please!
Because "parts work", only adds more confusion, to me.
Could you give an example?
Or a brief description?
When I mean parts work - I am talking about the idea how certain "parts" of a person are responsible for certain behaviors. One part might be responsible for smoking, one for doing x, one for doing y, etc. Sometimes it can help to find out what the "positive intent/purpose" of the parts are. I guess this is the idea I am going after for this idea. Maybe this dual induction could allow people to better "connect" with parts that they want to communicate with. Another thing I just thought of, since this is an idea for a dual induction recording is this: A conflict is something that involves two or more people/two more opposing viewpoints/etc. I'm thinking it would be interesting to take this into consideration when doing a dual induction. One side could be a story about some kind of conflict and the other side about resolution, or hell both sides about conflict, and then we can fill in the rest...well its late, mind is not working all that good :D

Antoine-

Parts therapy is a model which regards the personality not as an integrated whole, but rather as a collection of urges, impulses, and so on. Some of them are more developed than others. It's not as extreme as multiple personality disorder, but it has certain similarities to it. For example, in this model, in some circumstances or around some people I may act in one way, and in others I may act totally differently - enough so that you might not even think I was the same person. Part of me may be an adventurer, and part of me may be a librarian. This is why some people have what appears to be totally contradictory beliefs - one part believes one side and another part believes the opposite. This can make it very difficult to eradicate bad habits unless you can address the part that finds the habit to be useful. Again, it's just a model.
Thank you both for explaining!
I did not get the context, in which I had to see "parts".
Again, thanx for clarifying!
Parts therapy with dual induction? So you mean two voices speaking at the same time, to different aspects of the subject's personality? It's an intriguing idea, but I confess that I cannot think of how to put it into practice. I'd love to see what you come up with, Antonio!
Well Chad, thats why I was asking for input :D
