There may or may not be easier ways of doing this, but here's how I do it.

First of all you need a Twitter account. After setting this up, I then set up a Twitter Feed Account.

Next, go to your Twitter Feed account and select 'Create New Feed'. You can then add a desired RSS URL and it will then automatically update both your Twitter every time this particular field is updated.

Now you need to update your Facebook from your Twitter! All you need to do is click on this link http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=2231777543, and select 'Go to application', which is at the top left of the screen, then follow the instructions.

I for example share all the updates of my Hypnosis Article Directory to all my friends. Every time a new article is posted, the title, URL, and a short description is automatically tweeted and put on my Facebook status. So even when I am busy or away, I can still regularly keep in contact with my friends, and send them great useful content that they usually really appreciate. If you want to add a feed on your facebook from Hypnosis Article Directory, then all you need to do is enter the RSS feed http://www.hypnosisarticlesdirectory.com/rss.php?rss=0 into your Twitter Feed account, by selecting 'create new feed' and following the instructions.

This takes a little bit of effort to set up, but once it's done it saves so much more, so I think it's definitely worth it. I hope this all makes sense. Please feel free to ask questions if you are struggling.

Thanks for the great info Jon.....I have two questions:
1. I have a twitter account and have followed people of interest (my one son who will let me..lol, Marianne Williamson, Deepak...hypnothoughts) , but I do not know how to reply from my cell phone (BBstorm). I do know how to go in and post from my computer.

2. If you connect FB with the Twitter, can you choose which posts get tweeted or does everything you post get tweeted out?

Mary
Hi Mary, new Facebook friend!

1) I don't use mobile myself, but I've just logged into Twitter and if you click on 'setting' in red at the top right, then select the 'devices' tab, you should be able to set it up from there.

2) The method I just described above lets you automatically update your Facebook from your Twitter account, not the other way round. If you go into your twitter feed account and edit the feed, then go into 'advanced settings' you can filter the feeds that are sent to your Facebook with particular keywords.

Are you after updating your Twitter with your Facebook status updates Mary? If so, you can easily do it from this link http://apps.facebook.com/selectivetwitter/. Every time you update your Facebook status and want it to update your Twitter, you simply end your Facebook status update with #fb

Hope this helps!
By the way, I have posted an article with a bit more detail on how to do this - How To Automatically Update Your Twitter and Facebook Status
