A non verbal induction

This induction itself doesn't need any pretalk etc...as we were pushed for time I said 'when you go into trance you can work on whatever you want but come back to the room in a minute or so' I have done this induction (or variations of it) on people with no pretalk at all.

The movement is very important. I am also putting myself into a trance and changing my focus so that I start looking into the clients eyes end end looking past his eyes, and also use my blinking in a specific way

A group induction using movement to create confusion and disassociation enabling everyone to hypnotise each other all guided by me. This can work as a rapid group induction that has very little chance of conscious resistance. It can be followed with asking them to relax, or close their eyes and relax etc...

This is a demonstration of creating catalepsy in an arm.

This is a quick and simple way of hypnotising someone. It is also useful for creating anaesthesia (which can then be transfered elsewhere).

the hypnotic gaze or the ambiguous stare not sure what its called. i think its where you look through them or make it so they can't tell if your looking at them or something on them or past them (i think). how should one perform this exactly? i guess the idea is to confuse them right?

and is this the gaze alway used when the hypnotist tells the subject to look into my eyes or is this an advanced stare opposite to the original? is it best when looking at the subject to always use this gaze when hypnotising or are there times when it is better to look at them normally?

is it common that people use this gaze in other places like selling etc..
My main use for it is to simulate trance. When someone enters a trance their eyes dilate (the pupil gets larger). If you look through someone your eyes dilate.

If you look at someone and want to keep their attention focused with you look then you want very still and focused eyes. If you watch close ups of people on any soap or The Bill etc you will see most actors flick from looking in one eye to the other. This is what most people do. If you give a fixed look it is more powerful and does lock someones attention more.

In books or most courses they say to look at the bridge of the nose (of the person you're talking with) to keep that fixed gaze. It is this fixing of their attention that you are trying to create (remember to enter hypnosis the person needs to become more focused, and preferably on you as the hypnotist). If you look beyond them everytime you talk about trance stuff, they begin to associate relaxing the eyes, and dilated pupils with trance. So you then use this for embedding suggestions. This dilating also happens when people drift off into daydreams, they defocus the eyes and stare off into space.

So for example you may be saying:

'I was walking along the beach the other day and my mind began to wander as I thought about what I wanted to do that afternoon. You know I had some time on my hands; which is rare so I wanted to think of something I could do that would be relaxing and allow me to just chillout....etc'

And the bits in bold you would defocus your eyes so that you are looking through the client. They are unlikely to notice this subtle difference consciously but will notice unconsciously. It also means that in future sessions you can easily just take a deep breath (to symbolise relaxing), breathe out (relaxing your body at the same time as breathing out) and defocus your eyes and the client will get the message and begin to enter trance.

In all areas of life you get people that use this eye contact (rather than flicking from eye to eye) and they will be holding attention much better. For example if a salesperson uses it they customer will be more focused on that salesperson and what they are saying (and will be more responsive because of this) rather than being distracted by other things...
great videos, similar to covert
what is the the moving his arm about in the non verbal induction video?

and in the ambiguous arm touch video the catalepsy she is feeling is because of the physical things your doing but are the things your saying helping the process along or reinforcing the stiffness ?

with the ambiguous arm vid what muscle groups are you confusing the ones in the wrist, shoulder, upper arm?
In the ambiguous arm video I am using language to enhance and maintain the state. I am tapping on the forearm. The more gently you can lift someones arm (or if you ask them to stick it in the air - remember wording helps) the more effective it is because it already begins to go cataleptic.

I've not yet known someone not to enter trance with this which is why I love doing it.

The moving arm in the non-verbal induction video off camera I am looking at him, then gradually start looking through him, I am blinking the same, I'm matching breathing, and then gradually leading to a more relaxed state (I slump my shoulders etc) so that he follows. With the arm, I'm doing lots of pacing and leading. I'm pacing the blinking and occasionally testing to see at what point he blinks because I move the arm, I'm also matching the breathing with the arm (and again testing to see when he breathing follows the arm), and matching other subtle movements by different arm movements. I'm also being very gental so that it is almost like I'm not touching his arm, that is why when I let go the arm was still levitated where I put it. Once I have paced enough I begin to give all the signals to enter trance by moving the arm in bigger downward movements and prolonging my blinks and breathing and slumping my shoulders etc...
