Vision Quest
I"ll be going on my 2nd Vision quest this year , during the 4th of July weekend. If any one has had any experience with traditional Native - American ceremonies such as this please feel free to write anything about your experience. ~ Thank you

I've been to 4 sweats. They were very spiritual. The guy who lead the sweat was very intuitive. These were sweats that were planned for people who were novices to sweats and the rounds were relativity short since we had some young children in the lodge at the time. Ask the person who is leading the sweat to explain the significance of the ritual. He may do this before, after or during the sweat. It really helps to understand the meaning of the chants and a good leader will want you to know what is going on as the sweat progresses.

The Vision Quest was amazing. Myself and another therapist did this particular Vision Quest at the same time, we had paralell experiences. All together it was well worth the sacrifice. ~ Steve
