Comment by Marianne on February 28, 2013 at 5:15pm Hi I listen to my client when we have our talk before hypnosis. The important question for me is specially where does my client want to go - what does the client want to succeed with or which state of mind and feeling is "the goal". Then I use my clients words together with well known ego-state scripts or other. I really like your suggestion Marion Robb, combining with a metaphor also.
Hi guys, while questioning for weight loss, i found this lady has low thyroid problem. searching womentowomen.com (http://www.womentowomen.com/hypothyroidism/symptoms.aspx?id=1&c...), found one of the symptoms is 'weight gain, difficulty losing weight'. so this info brought me to fix her Thyroid problem, she is already taking medicine for that.
Wondering if someone has script for Thyroid problem!!!!
unfortunately i am not medical person, so dont want to screw up by writing myself.
Comment by Marion Robb on August 13, 2012 at 4:51pm I start off by writing a list of words - for example for a client with urinary retention it might include relief, let go, release, etc. As I work mainly with anxiety clients I'd then think of particular progressive relaxation which would help the process, for example in this case, stepping bit by bit into a warm bath. Then I work a metaphor or whatever I'm doing around these basics.
Comment by Chris Witherspoon on December 4, 2011 at 8:54am My method for writing a script in advance of seing a client is to take a existing script and then tweak it for my purposes. I cut and paste and add and subtract
until it suits my needs. It is still time consuming but not as bad as from scratch.
Comment by Elizabeth B. on December 4, 2011 at 6:31am Hi everyone... I love writing scripts, but it takes me forever, because I'm always tinkering with them as I go. Looking forward to some helpful and enjoyable exercises and advice to get me past this.
