the Free Hypnosis Social Network
This is a presenting problem that I'm going to be working on with a client in the next two weeks, so I'm really interested to see what we can come up with.
As you approach the elevator, you may find yourself taking 3 deep cleansing breaths, feeling the air around you when you move, and enjoying the open space of the lobby. Close your eyes a moment and remember these feelings, as you will every time you approach a small space. Take them with you, into the elevator... those big space sensations will stay with you now... as you ride comfortably now in the elevator.
(probably shouldn't post "pre-coffee")
Looking forward to seeing others weigh in on this, or offer their own "starters".

why is this focussing on an elevator ? is it only in this scenario where it happens ? what happens when they get claustrophobia, what symptoms, does this change when there are people present or not ? i know its a lot of questions but i think if it is in other scenarios maybe coping with the symptoms would be better as there is possibly many stimulus to create the phobic response ? just my ideas
