With your help John, and more practice and Melina's helpful suggestions I think it will be a great journey.

At least now I know it is possible : )

Thank you so much,

Brenda

Thanks for posting this variation, Melina. I am inspired to play with it. :-)

@ Brenda,

The suggestion to start with the hands is from Dr. Kappas (we usually go from head to toe / toe to head with clients). His book gives great advice, but there is a video on HMI (hypnosis 101) where George Kappas teaches self-hypnosis. It is a funny video, and it works.

Keep practicing! Like everything worthwhile in life, it takes work to get there :)

Thank you Melina:

I also studied the Kappasinian Method, and though I have great success with my clients, I myself am having a hard time.  I will keep practicing until I get it! Thanks for your help.

@Melina,

I would like to talk shop with you sometime, we could perhaps share some beneficial things with each other.

@Brenda

Yes. If you will work with me, we can identify the cause of the difficulty and remove it so it no longer prevents you from achieving trance. I have successfully done this more times than I can count. It is not an ability or technique, it is my knowledge of the hypnosis/trance mechanism and my background as a systems analyst that I am able to utilize. Let me know if you would like to pursue it.
