Hallo,

Ich wohne seit 25 Jahren in Napa und bin in Deutschland in Urlaub. Soweit habe ich noch nie in Deutsch jemanden hypnotisiert. Hat jemand einen Vorschlag fuer Scripts in Deutsch?

Ich bin hier, um einzigartige Perspektiven zu erkunden und immer daran interessiert, andere Ansichten. Ich möchte hier zu posten, obwohl ich lesen kann, viel besser als ich schreiben kann oder sprechen. Ich habe so viel vergessen.

Hello guys. Just to clarify. Dear Scott. I am not being offended in any way and do not have any negative feelings. I just suggested what may happen, because of my experience with similar topics.
I asked people on hypnothoughts about techniques used by faith healers and immediately there were guys attacking me and calling a "con artist" who want to ude such techniques against others.
When I touched topic of Goebbels and Adolf- I got very similar response except maybe a few posts related to the main topic.
I believe that we all should know what those guys were using to "hypnotize" crowds, because I believe that only knowledge can protect us. But it happened, that we can not expect deeper understanding from some people reacting emotionally immediately.
Let's bo honest here. If you read something about manipulation- there is a % of people who will call you a "manipulator" or "con" and accuse you for such things. If you read about methods used by 3rd Reich- there is a high risk that % of people will immediately attack you for being "nazi".
Your answers Scott does not have to do anything in relationship to my posts. You can not offend me, I will not feel offended in any way even if your beliefs are very strong and offensive for others. But I simply want to warn- that we are not alone here and if we want to discuss such hard risk topics- we should create a group or protected discussion, carefully moderated and warning others that the purpose is not to offend anyone but learn from the history.
As simply as that. If you want to run such discussion- you can start it and I am sure there will be some guys to join. But here it should be related to hypnosis, brainwashing, mind techniques but never to political views. The same rule applies to "faith healers". Touch the problem and immediately there will be people offended because of their religious views.
This is the reason I understand Andreas. He wants his group to keep clean and friendly. But these topics are HIGH RISK.
Because first we should be able to bypass people's emotional reactions.
And 99% of people will simply react (even aggressively) before analysing the real purpose of discussion.

@ Scott: no one has to praise anybody. But in respect of all members as it also is in the whole "hypnothoughts.com"-community. I won´t allow ANYBODY to misbehave and discriminat others. I think that should be clear enough. Some of us are Stage-Hypnotists and I guess most of us are using hypnosis for therapeutic approaches. If you really are interested to discuss about the 3rd Reich: Click on the "Start Discussion"-Button and discuss fairly and respectfully. But to be honest: this could be interested for other members too. Not only for those from germany, switzerland and austria.

To clarify- I have touched the problem of manipulation and brainwashing techniques, unfortunately touching the problems during II War and methods used by Nazi- and although intentions were quite good- to learn more to understand it all more, it immediately caused some negative reactions. We all need to remember, that such topics fire up emotions first and as such are very risky on any forum. Because of the oversimplicity- if you start analysis of Goebbels- many people will simply perceive you as pro-nazi. If you start analysis of cons- many people will immediately say, that you "want to be a con". What I can suggest it opening a moderated discussion, with permission from moderators and up front say that such discussions are not to promote nazi or whatever, but to understand mechanics of manipulation etc.
PS... manipulation. If you write a book about "manipulation" many people will immediately attack you as "manipulator". This is the risk.
This is what happened with one of my discussions and to be honest... I myself became offensive and had to apologize for that all.
So- if we wanna talk about brainwashing used in totalitar systems, hypnosis forms used to manipulate people- then it's best to open a moderated, separate discussion

@ Scott: I don´t know what your problem is. Ian Collins did nothing wrong as far as I can see. What happend in other groups and former discussions is out of my knowledge. Therefore I have to delete your last posting not to discriminate you....but because of your discrimation of other people. Be a serious hypnotist and able to discuss fairly. Thanks.

I think this information is very important because it proves the importance and the power of our own minds and convictions. Many, positively, also survivied the concentration camps because of their own will-power and survivial will beyond any physical means. These wonderful energies, techniques and "powers" have been use since the beginning of times, unfortunately, they have also been use for "negative" purposes. Everything has it's duality and even this wonderful modality can be detrimental if misused. We all as serious therapists and professionals need to be aware of this.

@ Scott, please be respectful to other members of this group. To compare somebody with "Himmler" or as "commandant" is absolutly a "no go", and therefore must be deleted. I m sure you will understand this. I can understand what Ian brought in... when you will discuss "hypnotic patterns in the 3rd Reich" in a Topic.....feel free to open one. But always have in mind this is not a group to discuss political misbehavior, everybody should be treated respectful....the main-theme is: Hypnosis
