In case it's of interest, we use something called 'Podpress' - a plugin for Wordpress to run our hypnosis podcast:

It's very neat - it deals with putting an mp3 file into Flash player and submits your podcast to the major directories like iTunes. Turns even non-techs into super-podcasters :)

Very cool!
I use Podcast Generator. It's a freeware program that I simply uploaded to my own site for my own podcast:

Thanks Roger and Tom = interesting. I use GarageBand which comes free with iLife on the Mac. The integration between that and iTunes and facespace and the rest is phenomenal but I'll look into these as well.
Ah...for recording, I use Session (it came with my MAudio interface...I like to record my instruments, too) and Audacity to convert the file to an MP3. I've heard good things about Garage Band...though I use a PC and I suspect that there might be a compatibility issue.
Hi Tom,
I downloaded Podcast Generator and I could not find an "install or "exe" file to install it. Any advice here?
I have Sound Forge Audio Studio from which I can mix and create mp3 files. Do I still need Podcast Generator?
Many thanks...

Sure...it's not something you install on your computer, so an exe file wouldn't be relevant. It won't create MP3's for you, but it provides an interface so that you can upload, manage and present soundfiles (that you already created via something like Sound Forge) on your website.

Essentially, you unzip the software, then upload it to a folder on your server, and point your browser to the place that you uploaded it to install and configure it.

The instructions may be found here

I'd be happy to help if there are any questions!
