I hope this is the right place to post...

I am a client looking for a local hypnotist in the Lancaster, PA area, who is willing to help me improve my responsiveness to hypnosis, and perhaps help me figure out if there is something preventing me from completely letting go.

I've been to a hypnotherapist for stress and mild depression, and found it to be a wonderful experience. I responded better than expected to the guided imagery and metaphors she used. Now, I'm keenly interested in experiencing the more novel side, including stage/street hypnosis, but have found my responsiveness to direct suggestions and PHS has been lackluster.

I can recommend personally from my website, John Weir, in Pittsburg, PA. He is very talented and skilled with Hypnosis.
Actually, since posting this thread, I've located a therapist about 30 minutes north of my location. She is of the belief that both therapeutic and street/stage hypnosis are beneficial in their own way for the person wishing to participate.

She is currently helping me work through some deep-rooted trust issues, which seem to be at the core of why I have a hard time "losing myself in the moment", despite how easily I access my imagination.
Sounds like you are doing well with this practitioner, Stephen. All the best!
