* Scientific evidence of hypnotic effects on pain
* Hypnotic Depth and pain control effectiveness
* Demonstration of rapid induction analgesia
* Different techniques including, Glove Analgesia, The Dial Technique, Numb Hand Technique, Desensitization, Mental Holiday Technique, Barber's Bothersome Music Technique
* How to use of Distraction, Future Pacing, and Breathing in pain management
* Uses in different situations
* Contacting professionals and how to approach them
About Your Instructors
Don Goodman - Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Biofeedback Specialist and Licensed Clinical Psychologist, he is on faculty at UCLA as Clinical Professor and Lecturer. Don has had the great opportunity to work with some of the most renowned doctors in the field of medical and dental pain control.
Ken Dubner - Well known to HMI students Ken is the AHA's lead teacher for Rapid and Instant Inductions as well as Stage and Demonstrational Hypnosis. His workshops are known to be fun, exciting and information packed, and this one will be no exception.
