I am currently a part time Hypnotherapist and full time facilitator of a behavioural model - I am starting to promote group hyp sessions and key note... stuff, looking forward to to keeping up with these threads.

I practice full time and do self hypnosis group  training and other types of public speaking but would love to take it to the next level.

Hi everyone!

 

I am so happy I found this group. I've worked in the training field for over 15 years as an instructor and public speaker. I also had the chance to publish 3 books in Brazil (where I was born and lived most of my life). I have also lived in Mexico City and Phoenix (Arizona).

 

This past year I have created several support groups here in Oklahoma City, and I use hypnosis, EFT and NLP  to help others become who they want to be. Hypnosis has always been my passion for as I have dedicated many years of my life studying the fascinating human mind, and the even more fascinating metaphysical field :)

I strongly believe that seeking knowledge is vital to the growth of any individual, and there is no better way to learn then the association with alike minds :)

I left the UK to speak on stage at Las Vegas, and Orlando still wondering how I managed to be invited but it shows me I do have what it takes, and I'd love to be invited back again.

I have also done a great deal of time with Caribbean radio Show and the Doctors Radio show both hosted at BTR. During my regular shows I have interviewed several prominent Authors including Sharon Lund who is a friend/show guest of Oprah Winfrey, and also used those shows to discus the problems of brain injuries, and done many hypnosis shows to my unseen audience.

This seems like a great group. I run a Hypnotherapy, NLP and CBT training college in the UK and have also done TV and radio work here, as well as giving presentations to corporates, clubs, societies etc on various aspects of hypnotherapy - eg. personal development, business development, sales performances, goal setting, sports performance.

 

I've been in hypnotherapy for 20 years and currently live and work mainly in and around London, UK. I'm always happy to pass on what I've gleaned and to learn more from others, even those people new to the industry, as they can often have some valid points with a fresh pair of eyes and ears.

@Patricia, I'm a fitness instructor too, as well as hypnotist and frequent workshop presenter. I started doing a fitness class called "Mindful Spinning" which is spinning (indoor cycling) with a hypno-twist! Feels like I get to do group confidence boosting hypnosis every day!

Hi everyone! So excited to join this group. I've created and conducted training for about 7 years. Also been a group fitness instructor for over 30 years - love, love, love the synergy in groups, and have overcome huge insecurities in public speaking.

Currently teaching coaching skills, public speaking, stress management, weight release and confidence in the new year. Very interested to share and learn from others in this group.

Hi, everybody! Just found out this group was here. Glad to meet you all. I've been speaking and teaching even before I started my business 11 years ago. If you are just getting started and like to teach, I highly recommend signing up to teach Community Education. At one time, I taught a 6-week self hypnosis course and a 6-week weight loss course. I still get clients coming in who were students 10 years ago.

I live in a big city with an active Convention and Visitors Bureau. It was free to add my business to the list and I get contacted from that site occasionally. I have also sent direct mail to the upcoming conventions. They frequently hire local speakers. And have gotten business from them.

You can also contact local government groups: City Clerks Associations, Mayors Associations. Most of these groups are interested in a Stress Management or Creative Thinking group. These are easy to do incorporating hypnosis.

Back when I was interested in doing Stage Hypnosis, I send direct mail to all the High Schools in the State for Project Graduation business. Did that for awhile, too.

Now, I'm most interested in Teaching Hypnosis for Medical Professionals. It's a community service that I do for Nursing Groups, teaching them Pain Management. A way to get Hypnosis in Top of Mind with Medical Personnel. My goal is to: Change the face of medicine in my community. So I teach nurses how to do Pain Management.

The program gives them CEU credit. It has been very well received. They have asked me to teach at more events.

And even though I don't charge them to teach, I typically make anywhere from $150 to $400 selling CDs to them, not to mention the referrals of clients.
