I have been teaching HypnoRestorative Yoga for almost two years now. I find it to be the most powerful combination of modalities in my my tool box.  I ALWAYS use yoga nidra :)

Hi everyone!

I am so happy I found this group. I've worked in the training field for over 15 years as an instructor and public speaker. I also had the chance to publish 3 books inBrazil (where I was born and lived most of my life). I have also lived in Mexico City and Phoenix (Arizona).

This past year I have created several support groups here in Oklahoma City, and I use hypnosis, EFT and NLP  to help others become who they want to be. Hypnosis has always been my passion for as I have dedicated many years of my life studying the fascinating human mind, and the even more fascinating metaphysical field :)

I strongly believe that seeking knowledge is vital to the growth of any individual, and there is no better way to learn then the association with alike minds :)

Can anyone recommend any good books, videos or other materials that discuss the connection between yoga and trance/hypnosis?

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Page,

This looks great. Hypnosis and anything that relieves stress and makes the body healthy work together in a special way.

Very cool, who did you study under? I haven't come across a whole lot of yoga nidra practitioners. Is it used in conjunction with pranayama and hatha or does it stand on its own?

this is cool...I'm curious ( and will check out the page) about a physical yoga practice and hypnosis. I teach Yoga Nidra ( yogic sleep) which I like to describe as a combination of meditation, guided visualization and hypnosis ( only you set your own intention)....:)A

I was wondering if anyone was talking about the combination of yoga and hypnosis. I will definitely check out your site.

there is much to learn from the distant past, and thats what the yogis taught, how to help others in the journey on the path of life
