Craigslist is so so for me. I'm based in San Francisco and so many people post things everyday my posting gets lost in the pack. My web site is always in the top five in most search engines and the trick in the links pages on my main web page. For example I have a Strange and interesting site on the internet with links to UFO and many off beat site. I also have a hypnosis links page but I limit the stage hypnotist links to a few of my friends in the state and stage hypnotist who work outside lf the country. The more links the more hit’s to your site. I also have a video page of clips from my shows, this keeps people coming back to see what I have added.

Michael, I have used craigslist for free services and did very good, As far as getting paying clients, nothing but what happen with the free clients is they gave me written and video testimonials. that I can use on my website and youtube for promotion. And they are also spreading the word of my services. They have been so happy with results that they are more than willing just to go out and beat the drum for me.

Craigslist Ads Anyone? I am curious to know if anyone has run a good ad that brought some calls for coaching. Thanks.

Craig - Thanks for reference to TweetMic. Now I wonder, when will someone create a similar app that combines audio and photos. Now that would be great. Take a great photo, add an audio comment, and tweet the whole package!

Go to Google. Type in "hypnotist". See who's at the top. It's content, links, referring sites. All adds up.

I agree, Pattie. Generosity is a good thing. Key is being discerning. IMO, there has to be a sense of balance.
