I'm glad to see so many people joined so quickly. This group is already one of the most popular. I'm sure it's the content, but I'd like to think it's my cute face and dynamic personality. :-)

Craig, thanks for starting this group. I enjoy your marketing blogs already but it looks like folks are really interested in this topic. Instead of posting to the main page comments, those with particular areas they really want to see discussed might consider clicking on the "start discussion" link in order to get more focused discussion on their query. I'm using squeeze pages on my golf websites and am now going to do that for my hypnosis weight loss program. You send traffic to a page that the customer only has 2 options, sign up, or leave. Optin rates go way up, you can market your stuff to folks forever. Build the list baby...the money is all in the list...(another) Craig

I have been exploring ways of marketing through social networking sites such as myspace, facebook and linkedin. There are tremendous opportunities there. It's almost like a microcosm of the world wide web.

Most of our most successful internet marketing is based on active participation in Yahoo communities. I am not suggesting spamming but I mean active "value filled" participation in a few targeted groups. Pick the precise area you want to be branded for and then be really great in doing it.

I have done Google Adwords but so far all its really done is taken my money. Not saying its Googles fault as I am sure I don't have the compelling CONVERSION process down pat yet.
