HypnoThoughts.com

the Free Hypnosis Social Network

Ii have been using LinkedIn since last Fall to connect with potential clientele. I haven't had much success with building a VTers group on HypnoThoughts and just got back to getting involved again with this site. I began using social media for marketing with LinkedIn after a business seminar about it. The gal teaching sold her house in 5 days with facebook so I figured it was a good business investment.

How do others use either or both of thsse to build and/or retain clieintele?

My main focus in using Social Media is building name recognition and branding. My services are varied and comprehensive - building name recognition is critical. I think Social Media is an excellent venue and also blogging. My goal is to blog once a day 7 days a week, however, there are times that is impossible. The intent, however, is important.

Although, I do not have any statistics on the number of clients I have gained specifically through Social Media, the majority of clients find me from reading my blog, social media, my website and word-of-mouth. Some clients made the comment - 'I found you on the Internet, your name came up everywhere I looked..' Music to my ears. I ask when a new person contacts me, "How did you hear about me?' How did you find me? Some callers state, 'I saw your website.' Or they send an inquiry via email from my website.

Have a wonderful day all ways always.

Although I have a presence on both I have yet to utilize any potential benefit from LinkedIn as I heavily rely on HT for a variety of purposes: I refer people to it for giving them what I think is the potentially largest exposure to current thinking a bout everything to do with hypnosis and that allows me the comfort and frees me from the effort to provide that on my own website which I like to keep simple for now. I believe I have best served my clients in this way as it goes to put them in potential knowlege and thoughts beyond my own limited viewpoint. I'm comfortable doing this as I feel the more they know about hypnosis and me the more they will desire to do their hypnosis with me and that benefits both of us. I believe that this attitude brings me business as well as contributes to sustaining it. I am certain that it builds great relationships!
I have had several people check me out on Hypnothoughts after a friend had told them about me. I have sent Scott a few notes over time to let him know how effective that has been for me. Facebook has been good also but I am just beginning to work with someone to show me how to use it better. Linkedin may be useful one day .... but that day hasn't come for me yet. Perhaps that's because I can't really even fathom what it does that can't be done on facebook.
