Writing and posting articles
Hi all:
I'm new to this group and I want to thank Michael for starting it. I want to let you know about my own experiences with my web site (Hypnotherapy Website). I have been promoting it by writing articles about hypnotherapy and submitting these to various article directories. Each article contains a link to my web site and so eventually the "Page Rank" of my site will start to rise and it will show higher in the listings.
You can see the results of my efforts to date by Googling my name - "Simon de Lides", and noting the large number of pages listed. It's a good start. Also note that if you Google things like telephone hypnotherapy, phone hypnosis, my website www.hypguy.com already shows up in the top ten. And I've only been at this for about three weeks.
Three are many article directories, which are pages where you can post your articles. I have created my own website for this at http://www.findorseek.com, please feel free to sign up and add your articles. The two I added already got listed in Google so that's a good start.

I have also been using articles as marketing for my website. This is a great tool and the articles can be used off the web for clients or any other events you do. I will be sure to submit to your site Simon.

Yes, article submission is a very good way of marketing your hypnotherapy website. You can add a link to your site, which is good for getting direct traffic, and good for search engine ranking. It also establishes you as an expert in your field. I will check out findorseek right now! I also have set up an article submission directory called Hypnosis Articles Directory.
