HYPNOSIS FOR INTUITION

Stepping on to the garden porch now of an old, old house …. Knowing you are entering a tranquil peaceful place…… let your senses guide you …. Your sense of taste, of smell, of touch, of sight …. All enhancing your wonderful imagination …. Now imagine yourself sitting in a large, comfortable chair, breathing in and out easily, and comfortably…..becoming more and more comfortable and relaxed ……

Surrounding you on the oak floor of the porch are terracotta pots …. Filled with the crimson blossoms of geraniums ….. and the trailing scent of butter coloured honeysuckle …..you breathe in deeply and as you relax you savour the light green smells of sage and mint mingling in the herb planters ….

Before you stretches a beautiful garden …. Full of rose bushes heavy with ripe deep pink and white blooms ….. strong oak and maple trees shelter a scattering of wild flowers. Near the roses, surf blue irises, gilded by the sun, nod and gather in a dancing circle of reeds around a small pond.

It has been a warm summers day which is slowly coming to a close as the sunlight around you begins to fade. The colours of the trees and plants begin to soften in the fading light. Everything is quiet except for the bees peacefully buzzing around the small petals of the fragrant lavender bushes …… and the sound of the gentle breathing of a favourite pet …. Real or imagined …. Lying by your side …. Reach down and feel with your hand the light, rise and fall of your pets breath through its comforting body…..

In the distance, on a sturdy rough barked oak tree, the bird feeder lazily sways as the last few sparrows gather ….. their only sound their russet tipped feathers flickering faintly as they feed …. Reach towards the bowl and pick up your favourite piece of fruit ….. bite into the fruit and enjoy its sweet juicy flavour ….

All around you the air is warm and soothing. The blue grey sky of the closing evening is threaded with lingering sun rays ….. listen to the low, soft rustle of a breeze through the leaves as the petals of the roses begin to close for the night …. Watch some of them drift onto the small pond…. Sprinkling the water and its lilies with a confetti of pink and white …..drifting, down, down, down, drifting this way and that, that way and this ….. all the way down, down, down…..

Now imagine those small petals represent the wonderful creative ….
